Partnering to Advance Sleep Science
We're excited to share that Labfront has partnered with The Sleep Research Society Foundation (SRSF), a leading organization in sleep and circadian science.
Together, we're committed to providing researchers with accessible tools to collect and analyze the data they need to better understand sleep.
How this partnership benefits researchers
Through this collaboration with SRSF, our goal is improve the process of gathering and analyzing high-quality sleep data using consumer wearables.
Our actigraphy solution allows researchers to capture research-grade sleep data in their studies, plus, it provides access to important digital biomarkers like beat-to-beat interval (BBI) data, which can be used to derive heart rate variability (HRV).
Whether you’re studying sleep regularity, circadian rhythms, or sleep stages, Labfront’s platform makes it easy to integrate granular wearable data into your research, without the need for coding.
Our analytics services also help turn that data into practical insights.
Exclusive grant for SRS members
As part of this partnership, we’re offering an exclusive sleep research grant to support SRS members. This is a great chance for early-career researchers in particular to get hands-on experience with technology and analytics to elevate their work.
The grant includes:
- 3 x Garmin vivosmart 5 devices
- 1 x Labfront Advanced account for data collection and participant management
- 1 x Labfront Actigraphy Duo package for detailed insights into sleep patterns and circadian rhythms
Valued at $3950 USD, this grant will be available in early 2025.
Discounts for SRS Members
In addition to the sleep research grant, SRS members will also receive 20% off Labfront plans (Basic and Advanced). Get in touch at hello@labfront.com for more information.
At Labfront, we’re dedicated to making research more accessible. We’re proud to work with SRS to support the advancement of sleep science and its role in improving health.
Check our grants page or register here to get notified when the grant opens and take the next step in your sleep research with Labfront and SRSF.
About the SRS Foundation
The Sleep Research Society Foundation (SRSF) provides support for growth and development in the field of sleep and circadian research. The SRSF, a 501(c)3 non-profit, was established in 2005 by the Sleep Research Society Board of Directors to provide support for investigators to conduct studies that would form the basis of more comprehensive applications to federal agencies, private foundations, and industry partners. All funding is provided exclusively to Sleep Research Society (SRS) Members.
Since its inception, the SRSF has provided $3.2M in funding to early-career sleep and circadian investigators. Those awardees have gone on to secure an additional $24.5 million in funding, demonstrating that the SRSF is identifying and funding the next generation of sleep and circadian investigators. The Sleep Research Society Foundation is committed to supporting the future of sleep and circadian field! The field is at a momentous crossroad, and we need to encourage investigators to remain in the field, to submit their ideas, and to continue their all-too-important research. Opportunities to make such a profound impact on a field of medicine are rare, so let us seize this opportunity together. Millions of Americans are and will be depending on the life-changing research we must fund today. It is within our reach to reduce the risk of illness, improve on existing therapeutic approaches for patients, and enhance public health and safety for millions. Your support of the Sleep Research Society Foundation can make a difference.
