We recommend creating a free account first to test out the features of the platform. You can create a project and invite participants to join in minutes. Check out the full guide on getting started in our Help Center.
The Tester plan enables you to experience the power of Labfront. Remotely collect wearable, survey and event tracking data from up to 5 participants. However, there are some restrictions: the data access period is limited to a 30-day window for downloads and some Garmin and Movesense sampling rates are limited.
Once you’ve selected a wearable from our list of compatible devices, you can purchase directly from Movesense or Garmin, or you can contact us via support@labfront.com and we’ll be happy to guide you through the buying process. You'll also be eligible for a device discount.

The key difference between the Basic and Advanced plans is data resolution. The Advanced plan allows for customizable sampling rates, enabling higher resolution data collection, such as BBI.
With regards to participant count, every new participant that is created to collect data in Labfront counts as one participant. For example, if you use 10 participants on one device, it would count as 10 participants.

Labfront allows the capture of individual heartbeats, known as beat-to-beat interval. It is from this granular measure that researchers can effectively derive HRV. Since this produces a large volume of data per participant, our HRV Report is recommended to accelerate the process and help you get the most insights from your data.
