Certified AWS data centers

Labfront uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers, which are some of the most secure in the industry and certified with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards. These certifications are available upon request if needed for your data protection officer. 

Encryption

All data, whether stored or in transit, is encrypted. Data on your mobile device is encrypted at rest, and TLS 1.2 encryption protects it as it’s transferred to the cloud. We also use advanced encryption methods for cloud storage to keep your information secure.

Compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and PIPEDA

Labfront is built to comply with regulations in Europe, the US, and Canada. We can also provide audit reports and compliance letters upon request.

Anonymized data

We minimize the collection of personally identifiable information (PII). Participant data is anonymized with unique codes, and researchers retain full control and ownership of their data. Participants can also withdraw their data at any time.
