- Fifth category is our commitment to open science. I want to let you know that research teams have full data of the ownership of the data. Personally, I think we believe that ideally it should be owned by the study participants themselves. However, if you desired, all the data can be fully deleted off our servers.
- The other thing that we do is, for any type of signal processing or analytical, services performed for you, the methodologies we'll provide in great detail. All code from Collaborate work will be open-sourced, submitted to GitHub. We will collaborate with large publicly available databases to incorporate wearable data.
- We do provide grants to junior researchers with limited resources, so we have, grants, occurring on a continuous basis almost two to four times a year, so continue to be, on the lookout for that. And we do facilitate collaboration between research groups and we have connected research groups across the country and maybe even across the world.
- We're a very mission-oriented company that came from a research group, so, academic center. So we know the struggles that you go through and really want to help you out.
- We also recognize the importance of metadata, and you know, this, the, the ability to reproduce, replicate study findings really hinge on sometimes knowing what type of devices used, what software used, what even the sampling frequency and the compression methods.
- And so, for instance, for our data, the metadata we do have here, for instance, the mobile type, the app version, the device type, and we'll continue to work to make these things available to really enhance reproducibility and replicability in scientific literature. And we envision Labfront serving as a type of living database that you can work with.
You can search the database, curate and aggregate the data, visualize it, share data and tools, compare devices, conditions, analyze it, network between partners, educate, and, you know, interoperate. So, you know, this is our vision. I think we have a lot of ways to go, but, you know, just to let you know, this is something that we see ourselves in sort of enhancing the capability of research in general.
